6 flights delayed between Baku and Moscow

The Baku-Moscow-Baku flight by Azerbaijani Airlines (AZAL), which was to depart from Heydar Aliyev airport for Moscow's Domodedovo on Monday at 8:30 pm and to return to the Azerbaijani capital at 4:05 am Tuesday, has been delayed because of the weather in Moscow, AZAL representative told Trend.

According to AZAL, the flight is rescheduled for Tuesday afternoon. In addition, the Moscow-Baku-Moscow flights by VIM Avia (was to arrive in Baku at 1: 35pm Monday), Ural Airlines (was to arrive in Baku at 2:30pm Monday), and three flights by Aeroflot (were to arrive in Baku at 00:40am and 3:00pm Monday and 00:40am Tuesday) are delayed.

Freezing rain hit the Moscow region last weekend causing chaos at the city's airports. Hundreds of flights were unable to depart and thousands of passengers crowded at the airports of Russian capital.
