"Ecological atlas" issued in Azerbaijan

"Ecological atlas" has been issued in Azerbaijan, the State Land and Cartography Committee said.
The atlas includes 176 pages and has been published in English, as common cartography work. It has been released at Baku Cartography Factory.

There are 11 sections in the atlas: Atmosphere, Hydrosphere, Lithosphere, Lands, Biosphere, Landscapes, flora and fauna, Natural disaster, Ecology of society, legal bases of Azerbaijani ecology.

The atlas comprises more than 150 maps. The maps of Azerbaijan have a scale of 1:1 500 00 and 1: 3 000 000. The atlas also fixes illustrations of animals and trees included into the Red Book of Azerbaijan.
