Who is the first baby born in Azerbaijan in 2011?

The first baby of the year 2011 in Azerbaijan was born at Maternity Home No. 5 in Baku. 23-year-old Aitaj Hamidova gave birth to a baby girl with a weight of 3,200 grams and a height of 51 cm.

The baby was named Nuran. According to gynecologist of the hospital Gulara Asgarkhanova, the baby was born at 00:02 and the state of the baby’s mother was satisfactory.

In total, from the first hours of 2011 till noon of January 1, 35 babies were born in 4 hospitals of the capital with 16 being girls and 19 boys.
