Daily earnings compensation suspended for a group of IDPs

According to the decision of the Azerbaijani government dated January 1, daily earnings compensation will be suspended for a group of internally displaced persons, who are public workers, army servicemen, women married to IDPs, children, one of whose parents is IDP, spokesman for the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons Sanan Huseynov said.

Huseynov said persons elected to the parliament from IDP regions, as well as IDP families which purchased houses in other cities and regions and registered there will be withdrawn from the IDP list and will not receive daily earnings compensation.

The official didn’t give details what percent the IDP list will be reduced and what caused this decision. Official from the State Committee told APA that the decision will concern more than 70 000 people.
