Young scientists to hold exhibition in Baku

Azerbaijan will hold the Science Fair of Young Scientists in early February, Azerbaijani Young Scientists Council Chairman Ilgar Orujov told Trend.

"The exhibition will present the achievements of young scientists over the past three years," he said.

The exhibition will put forward candidates for the Youth Awards, which were founded by the Young Scientists Council of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences, and the Youth and Sports Ministry. Candidates will be nominated by one of the five branches of the ANAS.

In 1997, national leader Heydar Aliyev declared Feb. 2 Youth Day in Azerbaijan.
