Traffic to be restricted in Baku on January 20

Police said they prepared plan of special measures during the events on the occasion of 21st anniversary of January 20 tragedy. According to the plan, Huseyn Javid and Mehid Huseyn streets will be closed to traffic from 7.00 to 18.00 on January 20.

The people will visit the Alley of Martyrs from 11.00 to 19.00. They will move from the area outside of the school No.20 toward the Alley of Martyrs on the Parliament Avenue. A minute of silence will be declared in the capital city at 12.00 on January 20 to pay tribute to the victims of the tragedy.
