Azerbaijani traffic police detains 21 wanted people in 2010

In 2010, the State Traffic Police Department of Azerbaijan received 160 reports on car thefts. 148 of the stolen cars were found.

Last year, the traffic police detained 21 wanted people, a source at the Department told Trend on Wednesday. Also, they found and handed over to the investigating authorities 11 submachine guns, eight handguns, two rifles 'TOZ', five hunting rifles, five hand grenades, 2,814 pieces of bullets of various caliber, 18 cartridges that are intended for different types of weapons. 45.739 kilograms of narcotic substances were also found in 2010.
