State Statistics Committee: 2010 - a successful year for Azerbaijan

2010 was successful for Azerbaijan despite the global economic crisis, Chairman of the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee Arif Veliyev  said at a press conference this week.

"This is testified by five-percent growth in the GDP to 41.6 billion manat," Valiyev said.

This shows that the country overcame the crisis, he stressed.
