Azerbaijan TPP generates over 5bln kw/h of energy

In 2010, the Azerbaijani thermal power plant (TPP) generated about 5.24 billion kilowatt hours of electricity, the JSC Azerenergy (production and distribution of electricity in the Azerbaijani regions) reported today.

In December, the TPP generated about 518.3 million kilowatt hours of electricity which is 3.5 million more than projected earlier. PS consist of eight units with capacity of each 300 megawatts each.
