Azerbaijan starts production of 120-mm mortars

Azerbaijani experts were working on the improvement of these weapons, which will be universal (both projectile and trench mortars). The universal mortars are expected to be tested and included in the armament in the first half of this year. A special technological line was created for its production.

Azerbaijan will also begin to produce 82-mm mortars M-5 (“Ashirim”) in March, 2011. The mortars will be exported to the Middle East countries.
