Azerbaijani State Committee for Architecture and Urban Planning takes measures to prevent corruption

The Azerbaijani State Committee for Architecture and Urban Planning, Committee is taking measures to combat corruption, Chairman Abbas Alasgarov said on Friday during a board meeting.

"Although the State Commission for Combating Corruption's meeting on Jan. 27 did not touch upon the State Committee for Architecture and Urban Planning, there are problems causing concern," Alasgarov said. "So I hope that the issues that were discussed at the board meeting will play a great role in managing the process."

The main issue on the board meeting's agenda was increasing transparency in urban planning and architecture.

During the meeting, the committee head noted the importance of paying special attention to issues that may lead to cases of corruption.
