Baku hosts Iranian films

Audience in Azerbaijan`s capital have had an opportunity to watch movies by Iranian filmmakers as part of the Week of Iranian films in the country. The event held at the Cultural Centre at Iran`s Embassy in Baku.

Speaking at the ceremony Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Muhammad Bagir and chairman of the Cultural Centre at Iran`s Embassy in Baku Ibrahim Nuri underlined the flourishing of Iran in the film industry. Many full length films and teleserials are annually made in Iran.

On the first day of the week “The Song of Sparrows” by Majid Majidi will be screened. Iranian film week will last three days.
