
Baku will host a seminar for Azerbaijani and Georgian customs officers on Feb.15-18 under the Support to Integrated Border Management Systems in the South Caucasus (SCIBM) project of the EU and the UN Development Program on Risk Analysis and Management, the project team reported Monday.
The seminar will be held at the Regional Training Center of the State Customs Committee (SCC). It will bring together experts from government agencies, including the State Customs Committee, State Border Service and State Migration Service, as well as relevant departments of Georgia.
The seminar will bring together experts from Latvia, the regional advisers - Richard Martinez and Philip Pierce. The seminar will be devoted to organizing the process of risk analysis, their management, and presentation of European standards, study of the operating methodologies of integrated management systems that will exchange experience in their development. Participants will be given certificates.
