Border Code may be adopted in Azerbaijan

The issue on adoption of Border Code is discussed in Azerbaijan, to improve the border management issues, said the Manager of the program of the fight against drugs in South Caucasus for Azerbaijan Mazahir Afandiyev.

Afandiyev noted that, National Security Conception has been adopted in Azerbaijan and there is a special clause on safety of borders here.

"But, we consider that, it’s important to learn the approach approved by Schengen countries for improvement of border management issues. That’s why the adoption of Border Code in Azerbaijan is on the agenda."
