Shortcuts eliminated in distribution of humanitarian aids to refugees and IDPs in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijani State Committee for Refugees and IDPs Chairman Ali Hasanov  said shortcuts have been eliminated in the sphere of distribution of humanitarian aids to refugees and IDPs.

"Previously, media reports frequently mentioned existence of facts of misappropriation of humanitarian aids, as well as funds, allocated for refugees. But, now all these negative facts have been eliminated,” he said.

So, there cannot be any violations in the resettlement of refugees and IDPs to new apartments now. The problems associated with utility service have already been resolved, Hasanov said.

Hasanov urged people to inform the committee of any manifestations of fraud.

"The State Committee has been fighting against corruption for more than 10 years," he said.
