Azerbaijan to observe mild weather

Rainy, occasionally snowy weather will be observed in Baku and Absheron peninsula in the morning on Feb.18. Partly cloudy weather will be observed in the afternoon, Azerbaijani Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry’s National Hydrometeorology Department told Trend.

Air temperature will be 1-2 degrees below zero at night and - 2-6 degrees Celsius during the day. No precipitation is expected in the southern regions of Azerbaijan, but only fog in some areas. Slush, and sometimes snow will be observed in some eastern regions on Feb.18.

Air temperature at night will be 1-4 degrees below zero and 4.9 degrees Celsius -during the day, as well as 8-13 below zero - in the mountains at night and 2-3 degrees Celsius during the daytime. Cold weather is good for weather-sensitive people due to the abundance of oxygen.
