Major water reservoirs transferred to emergency situations ministry's control in Azerbaijan

Upon the decision by the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan, the water reservoirs of state significance on the territory of the republic were transferred to the ownership of the Emergency Situations Ministry in order to provide reliable protection and constant technical monitoring, the Cabinet of Ministers decision says.

The Emergency Situations Ministry was also instructed to prepare and submit to the Cabinet the proposals for water resources management system of the republic and the rules of safety of reservoirs within two months.
