
Violations have been revealed in 6 district courts in Azerbaijan that create conditions for corruption.
Based on citizens' complaints, the anti-corruption sector established at the Judicial Council has revealed violations creating conditions for corruption in Yasamal, Binagadi, Khazar, Nizami district courts of Baku, as well as in Mingachevir city court and Gedabey district court, a source at the Council told Trend on Monday.
The judges in these courts have created red tape, did not take the necessary measures to ensure the participation of all sides in the trial, allowed the absence of the responsible person in the processes, unreasonably restricted the right of appeal, and committed other offenses.
In this regard, the Council began administrative proceedings in with regards to six judges.
Currently, steps are being taken to identify and eliminate corruption, and the courts are constantly being monitored, a comprehensive review is conducted.
