Azerbaijan's military defense products cause interest at international exhibition

Azerbaijan's defense products have caused an interest at the IDEX-2011 International Defense Exhibition in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The Azerbaijani Defense Industry Ministry is represented by 71 defense industry items at the exhibition. The event is attended by more than 1,050 companies from 70 countries, the ministry said.

The opening ceremony was held on Feb. 20. A delegation headed by Azerbaijani Defense Industry Minister Yaver Jamalov attended the conference and the opening ceremony.

At the exhibition, Jamalov studied the stands of other countries in detail and held meetings with the heads of the representative delegations of several countries.

Protocols on bilateral cooperation were also concluded at the meetings.
