Seven officers arrested for corruption in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijani Prosecutor General’s Office spreaded information about arresting seven officers for corruption, APA reports quoting Press service of Prosecutor General's Office.

At the information noted that as a result of investigation revealed that Zeynalov Murvat Rasul oglu, the head of the municipality Shamakhi, violated articles of the "Law on Administration of Municipal Land".

In particular, revealed that Zeynalov illegally saled municipal land to 271 persons.

Head of Shemakha department of the State Committee for Land and Cartography Efendiev Mehman Adalat oglu was also involved this case. For both of these persons prosecuted in the articles on the use of official position for personal gain.

Prosecutor's Office also notified that Akhmedov Farman Karim oglu, the chair of the Medrase municipality of Shamakhi district, arrested on similar article.

For violations of the Authorized by the Cabinet of Ministry of the Republic of Azerbaijan (dated 19 August 1997) of the regulations of medical-social expert commission arrested the chairman of the zonal committee on medical-social examination of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Azerbaijan Bakhramov Mir Hamil Mir Alovsat oglu.

According to Prosecutor's Office, According to prosecutors Bakhramov gave the social benefits to persons not included in the category of citizens who rely on benefits.

The Prosecutor's Office also arrested of the head of the Khidirli municipality of Salyan district Tarverdiev Tarverdi Aydin oglu, head of the State Social Protection Fund's Surakhani district Huseynov Safar Huseyn oglu, head of the Kurdamir region department of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection Abdurakhmanov Gimat Abdurahman oglu for corruption.
