Azerbaijani Parliament ratifies agreement on development of multimodal transportation within TRACECA

On Friday, the Azerbaijani Parliament ratified the agreement on the development of multimodal transportation within TRACECA transport corridor (Europe-Caucasus-Asia).

The agreement on the development of multimodal transportation was signed in 2009.

TRACECA is an international program of cooperation in transport between the EU and its partner countries in Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia. The organization has a permanent secretariat in Baku.

Currently, the TRACECA member countries are Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Moldova, Romania, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Iran.
