Number of ATMs and POS-terminals decreased in Azerbaijan

Number of ATMs functioning in Azerbaijan made 888 till February 1, 2011, and this number is 10.5% more compared to the same period of last year. The number of ATMs decreased by 4 within January.

Note that, there are 1047 ATMS in Baku and 841 in other cities and regions. At the same time, number of POS-terminals decreased over the country. That is, number of POS-terminals was 7830 until February 1 and it 9.6% less in comparison to the same period of 2010.moreover, 42 POS-terminals were removed from the system during January. There are 7021 POS-terminals in Baku and 809 in other cities and regions.
