Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan agree on issue of regular flights

The Azerbaijani Civil Aviation Administration and the Turkmen State Service Turkmenistan Airlines have agreed on cooperation in civil aviation and making regular flights, the Azerbaijani administration reported on Wednesday.

The sides agreed on the issue during the two structures’ heads meeting in Ashgabat on March 1. An Azerbaijani delegation was led by Administration Head Arif Mamedov and Turkmen delegation - State Service Head Merdan Ayazov.

Following the meeting, the parties prepared the text of the protocol. Based on the Turkmen legislation, the protocol can be signed only after the passage of internal procedures.
