Azerbaijan to take additional measures on social protection of IDPs

Azerbaijan will take additional measures on social protection of internally displaced persons who worked at enterprises and organizations financed from the Public budget, deprived of their place of work for reasons beyond their control and were not provided with job, a statement by the Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan said.

The resolution has been prepared in accordance with the seventh paragraph of Article 119 of the Constitution of the Azerbaijan Republic.

Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Azerbaijan was instructed to implement relevant measures related to employment of displaced persons who appealed to employment service offices.

The decision came into force on Jan. 1, 2011.
