
Over one million tourists from Azerbaijan, Russia, Iran, Ukraine, UAE and other countries will participate in Istanbul Shopping Festival in Turkey, said chief of the festival Ahmet Ozshahin during the press-conference held in Baku, on March 11.
Turkish film star Kivanc Tatlitug told about his participation in the project. He hailed participation of Azerbaijani tourists in the festival.
For 40 days and 40 nights, the first annual Istanbul Shopping Fest will transform the cosmopolitan city into a shopping mecca where visitors from around the world can take advantage of savings of 30% or more at various shopping arenas throughout the city. Taking place from March 18 to April 26, the festival will be complemented by virtually nonstop cultural activities, performances, concerts, parades and a variety of other festivities.
The Festival is set to be a celebration for shopping lovers to visit Istanbul – a city that has been a top choice for shoppers for more than 1,500 years. From hip boutiques in trendy neighborhoods and colorful bazaars and markets to over 90 modern malls featuring top designers, travelers and locals can expect a diverse shopping experience when perusing Istanbul's wares.
