
The Washington Center for Azerbaijan Studies and George Mason University's Azerbaijani Student Union co-hosted Novruz holiday festivities for Azerbaijanis studying here.
The students discussed the ways of educating the academic community of US about Azerbaijan, head of the Azerbaijani Student Union Elchin Abdullayev said.

"Representative of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic in the USA" Robert Avetisian's speech was removed from the website of the Armenian service of the Voice of America radio station following Azeri ambassador Aliyev's letter to director of the Voice of America Danforth W. Austin.
The letter underlined Avetisian was registered by the US Department of Justice as a lobbyist and does not holds any diplomatic status.
