
According to preliminary information, no Azerbaijani citizens were injured in the recent bus accident in Turkey.
"According to the preliminary information received from law enforcement and local bodies, no Azerbaijani citizens were injured in the bus accident in Turkey," Azerbaijani Consul General in Istanbul Hasan Zeynalov said.
A passenger bus moving from Istanbul to Antalya, owned by the Pamukkala firm, crashed in the city of Isparta on Friday, Zeynalov said. There were 37 passengers in the bus. About five died and the rest were injured. The Consulate General in Istanbul contacted the relevant agencies to learn if Azerbaijani citizens were among the victims. According to preliminary information, there are no Azerbaijani citizens among the dead and injured.
The injured were placed in various hospitals in the region.
