Youth Fund to be established in Azerbaijan

A Youth Fund will be established in Azerbaijan this year, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Intigam Babayev told journalists.

He said that the establishment of Youth Fund is considered in the prepared State Program "Azerbaijani youth in 2011-2015". The Regulations of the fund has been already prepared, and will be sent to the relevant organizations for the approval.

The fund will give a support to the national and international strategic projects of the youth organizations. For account of means, which will be collected in the fund, it is planned to create the various awards and scholarships for stimulation of the youth, working in the scientific sphere.

At the same time, the main duties of the organization are the strengthening of material and technical basis in the field of work with the youth, the preparation of young staff working in the NGOs and state organizations.
