
Simplifying mortgage terms for youth and forming a youth center and fund are being mulled after the Azerbaijani president’s meeting with youth, Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Political Analysis and Information Provision Department head Elnur Aslanov told journalists today.
"The Presidential Administration received many proposals related to youth training and creation of an enabling environment for research in Azerbaijani universities," Aslanov said.
Baku is hosting public discussions on the preparation of the state program on Azerbaijani youth in 2011-2015. The participants raise issues of social protection of youth, youth employment and support to their business activities, patriotic education of youth, and development of scientific and creative potential of young people, participation and governance in civil society.
President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the preparation of the program on April 6. Upon the decree, the Presidential Administration was instructed to, within 10 days, establish a working group from representatives of relevant government agencies to draft program.
