Azeri wrestlers win “Nakhchivan Cup”

The International junior Cup of Nakhchivan Greco-Roman wrestling tournament to mark the Salvation Day ended at the Nakhchivan Olympic Sport Complex. As a whole, the tournament brought together national teams of 8 countries.

According to the group results, the final saw fight of Azerbaijani young wrestlers vs Georgian. Showing a brilliant performance in the final, Azerbaijani wrestlers managed to gain the Nakhchivan Cup with 5:3 score.

Nakhchivan and Kyrgyz teams tested their strength for the 3rd place respectively. As a result of eight fights, Kyrgyz wrestlers secured the 3rd place with 4:4 score.
