Olympic champion Asgerov: 'I realized that this is chance to make history'

Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler Togrul Asgarov, who became an Olympic champion after winning the final battle over the Russian Besik Kuduhov, gave first interview to azerisport.com.
 
"I am very pleased. I can not express what I feel in words. So many emotions that I do not know what to say,” he said. “I knew that I must become a champion. I knew that I had serious rivals. But, I also realized that this is a chance to make the history."

Asgarov  said that all fights were difficult. “Now I am glad that the people of Azerbaijan is now experiencing a sense of victory, it is the best recognition for me.”
