According to preliminary data, Azerbaijan will receive revenues in the amount of 120-130 million euros from sponsors, sale of tickets and broadcasting rights for the first-ever European Olympic Games in Baku, Azerbaijani Youth and Sports Minister, Azad Rahimov said at a press conference in Baku on Tuesday.
He said Azerbaijan has all the broadcasting rights, which it will sell to the European Broadcasting Union.
"I believe that this amount will be at least 40-50 million euros. Azerbaijan will also receive funds from sponsors and ticket sales," Rahimov said.
The 41st General Assembly of the European Olympic Committee, held in Rome on Saturday, decided to host the first-ever European Games in Baku.

"For this purpose, we plan to repair and deliver the buildings, located at Heydar Aliyev Avenue near the "Koroglu" metro station for sportsmen's use," he said.
Rahimov said there will be dining rooms, recreation centers and other facilities.
