Azerbaijani boxers scoop 17 medals in int' tournament

Azerbaijani boxers have claimed 17 medals, including 5 golds in the International tournament dedicated to the memory of Abbas Agalarov.

Masud Yusifzade weighting in at 52 kg, Valeh Ramazanov at 60 kg, Javid Guliyev at 64 kg, Nabi Bagirov at 75 kg and Sadig Samadov at 91 kg mounted the highest step on the podium.

Other boxer Elnur Shafizade at 49 kg, Elsevar Azizov at 69 kg, Tayfur Mammadov at 91 kg and Mahammadali Tahirov at +91 kg have lost only in the finals and won the silver medal. In the team event, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and India shared the first, second and third places accordingly.
