Young Azerbaijani weightlifter among top three

Young Azerbaijani weightlifter Nijat Rahimov weighing in at 77kg has lifted a total of 340kg (153+187) to win silver medal in the World Championship in Lima, Peru.

Azerbaijan`s Valentin Hristov climbed on to the winner`s rostrum in the 62 kg class on Monday, while Firudin Guliyev claimed silver in the 69kg weight category yesterday.
