The Real Madrid squad have gathered for a meal at a famous restaurant on the outskirts of the capital three days before the cup final. The majority of the squad members have arrived at the event, which will not feature the presence of José Mourinho or any other member of the coaching staff.

The lunch is taking place after the morning training session at Valdebebas, and there are very few absences.

In a bid to take the focus off the latest dressing room controversies (with Mourinho at the centre of everything) before Friday's game, the squad decided to organise this meal, led by the captains.

They hope it will be the lucky charm which sees them lift the cup at the Bernabéu. The team captains were the ones who decided to close ranks and almost the entire squad has arrived at Filandón restaurant, located on the road to El Pardo.
