Azerbaijani judo fighters garner 5 medals

Young Azerbaijani judo fighter Natig Gurbanli weighing in at 50 kg and female judo fighter Leyla Aliyeva at 44 kg has garnered gold medals in the European Cup in Bielsko-Biala, Poland.

Other Azeri judo fighters Rauf Khalilov, Hidayat Haydarov and Nazakat Khalili grabbed bronze medals in the 60kg, 60kg and 52kg weight classes respectively.

The tournament brought together more than 563 judo fighters from 28 countries.
