Azerbaijan rank third in medal table of World Military Wrestling Championship

Azerbaijani wrestlers have ranked 3rd in the overall medal table of the 33rd World Military Wrestling Championship held in Moscow, Russia.

Azerbaijani wrestlers claimed a total of 11 medals, including 2 golds, 3 silvers and 6 bronzes.

The Russian team topped the medal table, while Iran finished as runners-up.

Azerbaijan`s squad included 7 freestyle wrestlers, 9 Greco-Roman wrestlers and 3 female wrestlers. A total of 350 wrestlers from 22 countries competed in the 33rd World Military Wrestling Championship.
