Shahriyar Mammadyarov to compete in Grand Chess Tour

Azerbaijani grandmaster Shahriyar Mammadyarov will compete in the third leg of the Grand Chess Tour to be held in St. Louis on August 11-15.


Mammadyarov will join Fabiano Caruana, Wesley So, Hikaru Nakamura, Leinier Dominguez, Maxime Vachier-Lagrave, Sergey Karjakin, Alexander Grischuk, Levon Aronian and Viswanathan Anand.


The prize money of the third leg of the Grand Chess Tour is $150,000.
