A change has been made in the preparation plan of the Sabah team, which is in a training camp in Slovenia, Azernews reports.
The team will leave for Hungary after finishing the training session in Slovenia on July 18, not Baku as previously planned.
The capital club will settle in the city of Budapest until the first match in Hungary with the Israeli team "Maccabi Haifa" in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League.
Maccabi-Sabah match to be played in Kishvarda on July 25 (21:15,Baku time).
The return match between the teams will take place on August 1 in Baku.
The fourth edition of the UEFA Conference League, and the first since it changed its name from the UEFA Europa Conference League, will start on 11 July 2024 and run until the final on 28 May 2025.
The biggest change is to the group stage, which will become a single 36-team League stage. Each side faces six different teams (three at home, three away).
The top eight overall advance directly to the round of 16; sides finishing from ninth to 24th will contest the knockout round play-offs, with the victors going through to the last 16. From then on it is a straight knockout.
