Azerbaijan wrestling team wins medals at Shamil Umakhanov Memorial Tournament

The memorial tournament in honor of Shamil Umakhanov, held in Khasavyurt, Dagestan, has concluded, Azernews reports.

Several members of Azerbaijan's freestyle wrestling team participated in this traditional tournament, under the leadership of coach Sharif Sharifov.

In the competition, three members of the national team won medals and stood on the podium. Islam Bazarganov (57 kg) earned a silver medal, while Timur Gulmagomedov (86 kg) and Aslan Abakarov (97 kg) each took home bronze medals.
