Women's U19 team plays its final match in European Qualifiers

Azerbaijan Women's U19 national team has played its final match in UEFA European Championship Qualifying.

The team, which is in the Group B League, faced the host team from Cyprus. The match took place at the Peyia Municipal Stadium in the city of Paphos and ended with a 3:0 victory for the opponents.

Following this result, the team, coached by Habib Aghayev, concluded the qualifying stage in fourth and last place.

It is worth noting that the national team lost its first match in the group against Switzerland with a score of 0:8 and against Estonia with a score of 0:3.

The UEFA European Championship qualifying, branded as the European Qualifiers, is the process that UEFA-affiliated national football teams go through in order to qualify for the UEFA European Championship, known as the primary association football tournament organised by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA).
