Azerbaijani women's wrestling team wins six medals in Minsk tournament

Azerbaijan's women freestyle wrestling team participated in the international tournament in Minsk held in honor of Olympic Champion Alexander Medved.

Azerbaijani freestyle wrestlers have claimed six medals (4 golden & 2 bronze) in the tournament, the Azerbaijani Wrestling Federation reported.

Olesya Zamula (63 kg) and Nadia Sementsova (67 kg) secured gold medals in senior competitions while Gusel Zutova (63 kg) won bronze.

Juniors performed in the “Bear” tournament.

Kamala Aliyev (49 kg) and Patimat Bagomedova (52 kg) won the first place while Aidan Safarli (46 kg) secured bronze medal.
