Azeri junior wrestlers win 3 medals at the European Championship - UPDATE

Young Azerbaijani free-style wrestlers have brought home a clutch of six medals, including gold from the European championship in Serbia.

Gold medal came from Aslanbek Alborov weighing in at 96 kg. Haji Aliyev, Magomed Muslimov and Aslan Jabishov garnered silvers, while Mirjalal Hasanzade and Galib Aliyev won bronze medals.

Azerbaijan ranked third in the medal table, behind Russia and Georgia.

Azerbaijani junior wrestlers have brought home 2 silver and 1 bronze medal from the European Championship in Zrenyanin, Serbia.

Galib Aliyev weighting in at 55 kg snatched bronze. Mahammad Muslumov in 66 kg and Aslan Dzebishov in 120 kg secured silver medals for Azerbaijan.
