Minister: Over 50 Azerbaijani athletes can get Olympic license

Some 4.610 million manat has been spent for the development of Olympic games in Azerbaijan in 2011, Azerbaijani Youth and Sports Minister Azad Rahimov said at a press conference on Friday.

He said it is expected that over 50 Azerbaijani athletes can get a license for the Olympic Games in London.

"Some 170 athletes are struggling to get a license. Some 83 of them are women," Rahimov said.
