Azerbaijani national team climbs 15 steps in FIFA ranking

The Azerbaijan national football team climbed 15 places in the FIFA ranking of national teams.

www.football-rankings.info website reported that FIFA will publish the ranking on September 21. Spanish national team is taking the 1st place. Azerbaijani squad is on the 97th place. San-Marino is taking the last 203rd place in the world ranking.

Azerbaijan gathered 4 points from the last matches with Belgium and Kazakhstan within the Euro-2012 qualification and has 7 points in its group.
