World Boxing Championship kicks off in Azerbaijan`s capital

The 16th Boxing World Championship has today started at the Sport-Concert Complex named after Heydar Aliyev here. 48 and 91 kg boxers will fight during the first day of the Championship.

The Mundial, which has brought together 570 boxers from 113 countries, will see 31 bouts today in 48 and 91 weight classes.

The Championship is a qualifying event for the London 2012 Olympic Games.
