Azerbaijani volleyball team becomes world champion - UPDATE - PHOTOS

Azerbaijani Rabita volleyball club, winning the Turkish Vakifbank team with a total score of 3-0, became world champion in volleyball for women. The final match of the World Cup was held on Friday in Doha, Qatar.

In the first match, Azerbaijani club beat the rival with a score of 25:15.

The second match ended with a score 25:18 in favor of Azerbaijani volleyball players, the third - with a score of 25:9.

These teams had met in the final of Champions League, which was held in Istanbul in March. Then the victory was gained by the Turkish team.
