Azerbaijani chess player ranks 5th at World Championship

World Youth Chess Championship came to an end in Caldas Novas, Brazil. Thus, Khayala Abdullayeva showed the best result amongst the Azerbaijani representatives by ranking 5th in U-18 tournament with 6.5 points. Another Azerbaijani player, Narmin Kazimova ranked 7th in the same category.

Other Azerbaijani representatives ranked in the following order:  Zeynab Ismayilzade (U-8) and Zaur Mammadov (U-18) - 8th, Metin Mursalli (U-8) and Gunay Mammadzade (U-12) – 9th, Aydan Khodjavatov (U-12) and Ulvin Fataliyeva (U-16) – 10th. All of them gained 6 points.
