Azerbaijani Culture Center to be opened in Belgrade

Azerbaijani Culture Center will be opened in Belgrade. It was decided on the initiative of Azerbaijan's Embassy in Serbia and the Serbian Government, as well as with support of this country's Ministry of Culture, Azerbaijani Embassy in Belgrade told Trend today.

The activity of the Culture Center of Azerbaijan is aimed at establishing a bridge between Azerbaijan, rich in ancient history, and the Serbian people, to acquaint it with the cultural heritage, history and folklore of the Azerbaijani people, as well as to expand cultural relations between the two countries.

Establishment of the Centre will serve to increase the level of cultural cooperation between the Azerbaijani and Serbian people, establishment of close contacts of intellectuals, representatives of culture of the two countries, realizing mutual visits and translation of works of Azerbaijani and Serbian writers, the Embassy said.
