Azerbaijanis of Aberdeen University in UK, marked Novruz - PHOTOS

Azerbaijani students of the University of Aberdeen (UK) organized a Novruz holiday event, and invited many foreign quests, where they had a chance to get to know more about Azerbaijan.

According to the president of the Azerbaijani society in Aberdeen university, Nigar Dadashzade, about 50 people from 20 countries attended the event.

Videos about Azerbaijan were displayed to show Azeri nature, culture and traditions. The guests tasted Azerbaijani national food "plov" and pastries such as "shekerbura, pakhlava and goghal". In the end of the event, the broucheres, magazines, journals and CDs about Azerbaijan were distributed to guests to know more and more about Azerbaijan.

The event was successful in introducing Azerbaijan to the foreigners. Check out some photos from the event below.
